854 front tires

Hey guys, got a question.

Is  there spacers on front tires on the axle?   Or do I have wrong rims on there?

Rim widths did change alot over the years and spindle lengths with them. I've used spacers up front on several machines to make up the distance. I don't think Wheel Horse ever used them but they do come in handy if your wheels need replaced. 

 

TSC carries packs of 3/4 machine washers that work well for smaller gaps, and 3/4 collar locks work well for larger ones.

Most likely wrong rims but yes might be replaced spindles.  Might be some very thin shims but nothing considered spacers. Measure the length of the spindle then we'll know if the spindles or the rims are correct. If it doesn't matter for a correct assembly ... yep get some spacers.

I was surprised to find that the spindle on later tractors, in this case a Raider 9 or a 1976 B/C series, are shorter than an 854. You can see the shaft collar that I used on my 854.
