CD Long Jr 155 #1 Posted Saturday at 05:43 PM Got a pane of glass, 180 & 220 sandpaper @ HD, 24 bucks. I laid a sheet on the glass and used painters' tape to hold it. Sprayed water and sanded. Took 3 sheets of 180 & 3 sheets of 220. Too cold to do anything else. 7 9

peter lena 9,667 #6 Posted 1 hour ago @CD Long Jr nice job on that , personally , get some RISLONE ZDDP SUPPLEMANT , I use 4 oz , bottle specs , for 2qts of oil , that will make quick work out of those varnished piston rings , engine heat , will really help clean up whats there , would also use a 10-30 oil , for easier / quicker turnover start up, that oil transition , will give you a solid baseline , for easy running and cleanup , none of my engines , smoke in any way , been using this set up for years , good going , pete
