CCW 1,462 #1 Posted Thursday at 09:26 PM Life as brought me another new hip this past Monday and as part of my preparation I purchased a used power recliner which has worked great. Well as I pushed buttons to raise and lower the chair I naturally ruminated on would the power lift in this chair pick up the front end of my 312-8? I weigh 230 lbs and it does not strain lifting me. Of course I am not going to rip the chair apart to find out but some of you might have some thoughts. I bought my chair used for $300.
rmaynard 16,819 #2 Posted Thursday at 09:48 PM Sounds feasible, but I wouldn't trust it. Why not sell or donate the chair and buy a lift from Harbor Freight for $139 or less that is designed to do what you want to do. I found one used for $75.00.

CCW 1,462 #4 Posted Friday at 02:36 PM This idea was only speculation on my part as I sat for a couple of days waiting for the muscle to heal. I will not disassemble the power recliner to experiment for I use my front end winch to an overhead chain to lift up the front end to clean the mower deck.
