rmaynard 16,786 #1 Posted 8 hours ago I spent the better part of the day removing and cleaning my gas tank, replacing the fuel lines, and installing the 1-3 psi electric fuel pump on the 416-H. All went well until the first test run. Engine started, but it went to full throttle with throttle lever set a idle. I had to stop and move on to another project. Having not touched anything other than the fuel delivery system, I somehow must have done something to the throttle, but I can't look at it again until 10 PM tonight. As Roseanne Roseannadana said, "it's always something".

I've done it more than once .

I've done it more than once . Yup, just took the air cleaner base off and found that I had somehow wedged the throttle linkage wide open. Oops. All fixed.
