T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,752 #1 Posted January 18 As the title says, should I for $600? I haven't even spoke to the seller, so I don't know anything about the condition. But, I am intrigued. If anyone else is intrigued, send me a message and if you're near Park Hills, Missouri, maybe it could be yours instead. I'm just not sure if I'm that intrigued to go look at it. 1
JoeM 9,598 #3 Posted January 18 Survivor for sure, nice patina, original mufflers, etc. If you are into D machines I would say that is the one to get. If you get it, do check the pump input coupler, mine spun the spline a couple years in. Those couplers are hard to come by.
Pullstart 68,840 #4 Posted January 18 That fan on the rear don’t look like it’s there for your cooling pleasure… I wonder if it’s a last ditch effort to keep that hydro motor working so-so.

The D 200 had those fans on the trans! (No Dr. Suess!) 2
pfrederi 19,857 #6 Posted January 18 I wanted to put one on my D-200 but it has the easy ride seat and you can't mount the fan. I wound up using a small 12v box type fan
Easton Rich 966 #7 Posted January 18 These are absolute beasts. We have 3 here and they will do just about anything
8ntruck 8,590 #8 Posted January 18 Hmmmm. Now I'm torn. I'm phisycally halfway between a 48" deck I'm interested in and a very interesting D 160. The deck is cheaper, and I left my trailer in Michigan.....

If it runs and moves under its own power definitely YES YES YES. If that's the asking price you may have some wiggle room also. Looks like it hasn't been butchered up either. Would be hard for me not to take a chance on that one. forgot to add looks to be towing a small trailer so I bet it runs and moves...
