Wheel Horse D-160 Should I?

Recommended Posts

T-Mo

As the title says, should I for $600?  I haven't even spoke to the seller, so I don't know anything about the condition.  But, I am intrigued.  If anyone else is intrigued, send me a message and if you're near Park Hills, Missouri, maybe it could be yours instead.  I'm just not sure if I'm that intrigued to go look at it.

Survivor for sure, nice patina, original mufflers, etc.

If you are into D machines I would say that is the one to get.

If you get it, do check the pump input coupler, mine spun the spline a couple years in. Those couplers are hard to come by.

That fan on the rear don’t look like it’s there for your cooling pleasure… I wonder if it’s a last ditch effort to keep that hydro motor working so-so.

The D 200 had those fans on the trans! (No Dr. Suess!)

I wanted to put one on my D-200 but it has the easy ride seat and you can't mount the fan.  I wound up using a small 12v box type fan

These are absolute beasts. We have 3 here and they will do just about anything
