Sparky-(Admin) 24,267 #1 Posted yesterday at 12:00 AM My new C-145 Auto came with a real nice seat. It’s new or like new, made of rubber and not vinyl so it’s still flexible in the cold. Would love to find another, but can’t figure out who made it. The only clue is the word PERSONS in the rubber (see picture). It even has the correct bolt pattern for our tractors!!! Anyone know who made it? Or does anyone have the same seat that might have a brand name sticker under it. 1

Bill D 2,515 #3 Posted yesterday at 12:17 AM TSC used to sell those. Not sure if they still do.
Handy Don 15,664 #4 Posted yesterday at 12:22 AM Just now, Bill D said: TSC used to sell those. Not sure if they still do. We got one a couple of years back for the camp tractor and then my sone decided to swap with the one on his 312-H--claims he’ll get more use out of it. A huge advantage for us was that the rubber cover was easily removed/reinstalled when installing & wiring the rear-facing work light attached to the upper part of the steel seat back.

I did find some info on bike seats as well, but nothing about tractor seats.
76c12091520h 4,008 #6 Posted yesterday at 01:15 AM Sold one just like that at the show last year; it came out of the recycling yard at work. It came off of a Wal-Mart jazzy scooter, had the correct 7 x 7.5 bolt pattern. 1

I have one of these seats as well on my GT-1600. A little thin on the padding but it sure wears well and stays flexible in the cold.
JoeM 9,401 #12 Posted yesterday at 11:24 AM I tried to match one up for the jeep project and came up dry. Ended up with a set of the ones shown from agrisupply. I think there are runs made at times then changed and discontinued. Discontinued seat. 1
Wishin4a416 2,406 #13 Posted 6 hours ago The painters at work had a low rolling chair for lower work.. They were older gents. It had a seat just like that. I think they got it at Mac Carr or Grainger.
WHX?? 53,854 #14 Posted 6 hours ago Googled those numbers Sparky just for grins and came up with this ... https://www.ebay.com/itm/177488607268 'Course also came up with this ... The string "persons mt-3-1-92 seat" appears to be a query that combines a reference to a Bible passage, Matthew 3:1-9 (MT 3:1-9), with a discussion point about the concept of "persons" and a "seat" (likely the judgment or mercy seat). Best be careful with the "judgement" seat ...
cafoose 3,531 #15 Posted 2 hours ago Just checked with Grok Ai and found this: 111 sources 7 by 7.5 bolt pattern A 7" x 7.5" bolt pattern (likely meaning 7 inches front-to-back by 7.5 inches side-to-side, based on common measurements) is a standard four-hole mounting pattern found on many compact/utility tractor seats, older garden tractors (like some Wheel Horse models), and even adaptations for other equipment. This pattern is very common for aftermarket universal compact tractor seats, especially those designed for brands like Mitsubishi MT series, Kubota, Yanmar, Satoh, and similar Asian/European compacts. Many seats include multiple slotted or pre-drilled patterns that cover 7" x 7.5" (often listed as 7.5" width x 7" depth or similar variations). Recommended Replacement Seats Here are some solid, affordable options that support or include this bolt pattern (or very close multiples/slots that allow easy alignment): High-back compact tractor seats with multiple bolt patterns (including 7.5" x 7" and nearby slots): These are popular for Mitsubishi MT models and similar. They feature steel pans, heavy-duty black vinyl, central drain holes, and often accept flip brackets or slides. Examples include seats from Reliable Aftermarket Parts, Maple Farm Seats, or similar on Amazon/eBay, priced around $100–$200. Here are some visual examples of universal compact/high-back tractor seats that commonly feature multi-pattern mounting (including 7–7.5" ranges) for easy fitment: amazon.com mfseats.com amazon.com These show typical high-back designs with bottom pans that have versatile hole patterns. Where to Buy Amazon — Search "universal compact tractor seat high back" or "Mitsubishi MT tractor seat replacement" (many list patterns like 7.5" x 7", 7.5" x various depths). Check product images/descriptions for exact bolt diagrams. TractorSeats.com or AskTractorMike.com — Great for Mitsubishi MT series specifics; they offer Uni Pro or similar bucket seats with multi-pattern mounting. Agri Supply — Their compact seats with flip brackets often include 7-1/2" x 7" or adjustable rows. eBay or Tractor Supply — Look for "universal tractor seat 7.5 bolt pattern" or Concentric/aftermarket brands that list 7.5" x 7" among options. SeatHaus or Bailey Hydraulics — Carry narrow/compact seats with patterns including 7.5" x 7". Pro Tip: Always double-check the seat's bottom mounting diagram in listings (many have photos of the pan with all holes labeled). If the exact 7x7.5 isn't listed but there are slots or nearby holes (e.g., 7.5" x 1–7" adjustable), it usually works with minor alignment. Measure your current setup precisely (center-to-center distances) to confirm. If none match perfectly or you need a swivel/adapter, some mounts (like NRS-style) use this pattern exactly for attaching seats. Let me know more details (e.g., high-back vs. low-back preference, color, or if you need armrests), and I can refine suggestions!
