FLtractor 109 #1 Posted 23 hours ago (edited) Recently posted near me, what model, thoughts on issue given recent transmission replacement needing TLC yet runs and drives in description. Seller asking $300.00 obo. Worth the asking price? Edited 23 hours ago by FLtractor
ri702bill 10,981 #2 Posted 23 hours ago Looks to be a mutant. Incorrect engine, questionable front wheel modifications. The biggie - no belt guard. Missing one or both foot rests. Only worth it if ALL the OE parts come with it - in useable condition. My
Easton Rich 802 #3 Posted 23 hours ago Looks to have a Honda or Honda clone on it. I don't think it's worth it because it's missing lots of OE parts.
oliver2-44 11,137 #4 Posted 22 hours ago With that large engine pulley, its set up to go fast. Those tires say mud mower to me, lots of abuse. Inspect F plate thoroughly for cracks. Looks like ID tag is on hood stand below dash.
Sparky-(Admin) 24,257 #5 Posted 21 hours ago Looks like a 78-79 C series going by the hood stand. But who knows, it’s been built with all sorts of parts. Worth $300? Nope
Lagersolut 782 #6 Posted 21 hours ago Those rat rod tractors show up in marketplace up here - to me personally they're not worth anything - most are cut up and beat to pieces like that one.
Bar Nuthin 2,058 #7 Posted 21 hours ago $300 is what I gave for this C-141 Auto - and it came with a mower deck. Have patience and seek out a better deal.
Gasaholic 342 #8 Posted 10 hours ago I agree with the rest, it ain't worth that as it sits... OTOH I could justify it if I already had a horse that needed repair parts for the trans. - easily could spend twice that buying parts for transmission.. but the rest of it looks so roached, only other workable pieces might be the frame and possibly front axle, hood and hood stand... so those 4 areas would definitely need careful checking over to be sure they were all in solid shape to even be worth it as a parts unit or "ground up" frame resto. oldlineman 1,626 #9 Posted 9 hours ago Agree with the rest, looks like a C as Sparky has said not worth asking price IMHO, looks to have been abused.

Will pass, even as a parts tractor Another point: that poor machine has not only been butchered, but what was left has likely been horribly mistreated. While these old iron machines are rugged, they do wear out even when maintained. Beating them up and running the transmission at many times faster than intended makes that tractor a scrap machine in my mind. Better options do exist. Be patient and you'll find one.
