tmix61 92 #1 Posted yesterday at 02:07 AM Taking apart the transmission tomorrow hopefully putting it back together after replacing one needle bearing My question is what is the cam block pin engaged in the cam block not quite understanding that any help would be great
953 nut 63,513 #2 Posted yesterday at 12:59 PM Here is a picture of the cam plate (upside down), the direction control linkage has a ball shaped arm that slides up and down in the slot of the cam plate, that in turn moves the Sundstrand's direction and speed output. tmix61 92 #3 Posted yesterday at 01:21 PM I don't see this plate I see where the shaft goes in and the fluid comes through the strainer
pfrederi 19,424 #4 Posted yesterday at 01:44 PM The cam block and pin discussed in the manual are not involved with a divorced system as on your D200. Your D200 should be a piston to piston unit not a hydro gear.
tmix61 92 #5 Posted yesterday at 01:47 PM Thank you very much for clearing that up wasn't quite sure what I was reading never been inside before. Just want to open it up and replace this one needle bearing
pfrederi 19,424 #7 Posted yesterday at 02:01 PM Did your kit include a new special sealing washer??
tmix61 92 #8 Posted yesterday at 02:15 PM Motor installation is pretty straightforward I have a new gasket for the strainer. The old one was pretty crisp and a new gasket for the pump

Yes there was a washer under one of the front bolts that hold the manifold to the hydro motor. It is a sealing washer. Not sure it was designed to be reused... tmix61 92 #11 Posted yesterday at 02:25 PM Not sure which one you're talking about was it an o-ring? Are we talking about the upper middle small hole above the big one?
pfrederi 19,424 #12 Posted yesterday at 03:03 PM No it was a flat crush type washer. It goes through the manifold into the top of the hydro motor (yellow arrow.)
tmix61 92 #13 Posted yesterday at 03:08 PM Oh boy I don't remember seeing that

tmix61 92 #15 Posted yesterday at 03:19 PM I don't see anything on the schematic
pfrederi 19,424 #16 Posted yesterday at 04:23 PM You are looking at the wrong Schematic. The D series were somewhat different 4-67 and 4-68 bolt and washer
pfrederi 19,424 #17 Posted yesterday at 04:25 PM I have used some sealing washers from Mcmaster that have held up for years. Can mail you one if you need it

Thomas Miksa W5629 Summit rd Norway Mi 49870 They are cheap no payment will mail it tomorrow. When it comes to the manifold system the parts manual for the D series tractors is better than the Sunstrand manual.
