Has anybody swapped a solid hood for a louvered one in better shape. It would be a hood off a 520 h onto a 520hc the hc is in excellent overall condition. The tractor is kept inside exclusively.

I have not, but I don’t see why it wouldn’t work. As long as where the hood meets the dash is the same it should work. It’s not too often that a nice 520-HC shows up, we’d love to see pictures!!

It should work just fine. Both tractors have the same center console shape and size. 

 

My "523-H" project machine had a 520-H hood early on. I swapped back to what came off a 518-H before painting. No fitment issues with either type.

That’s sharp I’m in need of decals soon. Thoughts on the patriotic ones ?

Check out Terry's site in the vendor section redoyourhorse.com. He's got some patriotic sets, and does custom work as well.
