C-120 gets new shoes and wheels

Sacrilege or not I wanted some new wheels, tires, hubs, and lugs. Put old shoes on my L-156.

I see nary a problem here. Serious upgrade to the front with the trailer hubs (can't go wrong with the Firestones either), and studs on the back are an outstanding addition.

Agreed. I prefer a wee bit of off-white to the bright color but those wheels n sneakers look goooood.

Painting a Wheel Horse GREEN would be a sacrilege, putting new shoes on a fine looking horse is a serious plus.

 Yes I agree the white is TOO much. The rears were YELLOW (humbug) and fronts factory painted.

What am I missing I dont see no green or yellow in pics  I see misread you said they were yellow

There are MANY shades of off-white on the market. 

It takes a bit of personal preference and experimentation to get your own color set right. 

 

My S/O Trina and I both like the very light shade of "off".

 

We use Rust-Oleum 2X Cottage white. 

 

I have it on wheels, engines, and other parts of my tractors.  

 

There are several other shades in the Rust-Oleum lineup that are darker.

here is a pic i think shows a pretty good difference between the rustoleum canvas white and white that Craftsman mowers come withe front wheel is canvas white.
