T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,315 #3 Posted February 15, 2008 Terry, You beat me to it. That info is correct. The JD 100 was JD's entry in the lawn tractor category. Think of it as a very well built Lawn Ranger. It replaced the 70, which replaced the 60. The 100 was a very solid lawn tractor and you could get a snow plow for it, as well as a snow blower. In 1979 JD replaced it with the 108 and 111 lawn tractors. Both were okay, but not as solid or durable as the 100. You can still find a lot of them still going today. For that price it's a steal.
