Anyone Deal with GIGA Tire?

Looking up some tires & ran across this add. Seems too good to be true, which usually means it is.

Read through some mixed reviews. Just wondering if anyone here has purchased from them?

I recently had to get new tires for my truck, I did a lot of searching on the internet just comparing prices. Giga Tire popped up everywhere, 

they seem legit, I personally wouldn't be afraid to to buy from them. That is a good deal, some sites I looked at had high shipping rates though.

You ended up not saving any money, having to wait to be delivered & sometimes paying more than you would just buying them at a brick & mortar establishment.

4 tires to my doorstep shows $60. That isn't bad at all. 

 

But that is more to ship the tire than the cost of the tire. 

 

Side note: 4 tires ship for the same as 1 tire. The calculator kicks higher only after 6 tires...

Shows $63.48 for 4 to my door. still just works out to less than $16 a piece. I have 2 sets of the Deestones pictured and really like them.

It's a similar site as tires easy which I have used quite a bit, giga is a legit site but the prices they show don't include shipping. So tires from them will always appear cheaper compared to companies that have free shipping. 

 

I have gotten those tires for around $20 a piece shipped so that is still a good price.

Just an update on the Deestone's 4.00-8's. Found myself needing to order some front tires and when I got to the punch here to order button at Giga tire there was a 24$ handling fee added and tires had doubled in price. So I went with a different outfit (Wally W) that ended up being less then $22 a piece at least half as much as I can get local. I hate it when these places try and hide fees and slip them in an ya....

Was going to say the same thing, I did buy mine from Giga but I didn't realize until about an hour after that they added a handling fee at the end that made them slightly more expensive than if I had ordered from Walmart, couldn't cancel the order after that amount of time. The tires did arrive and everything was fine but I won't be using them again since they bait and switch the prices so badly.

I did end up placing an order for 4 tires and YEP, got hosed on the extra surprise handling fee. 

 

Final price come to just under $25 per tire so I'm not gonna cry too bad, as long as they show up.

 

Will stick to sites I know from now on.

Yes sir I just about pulled the trigger and happen to see it. P me off so no no from here on out  still wasnt real bad deal but.....

It seems like they showed the price of the tire, then they showed the shipping which was more than the cost of the tires but they were still pretty cheap, then when you went to the next page it added another handling fee as you were completing checkout. I could have canceled at this point if I had been paying closer attention but I didn't realize until after completing the transaction. If you don't cancel the order within 30 minutes they don't allow you to cancel, I realized about 45 minutes after and called, they said I would have to wait until I received the tires and process a return. Pretty terrible business practices and customer service. I did receive the tires that I ordered in a timely manner so I can't knock them there but I prefer knowing ahead of time when I am getting screwed, not after the fact!

I have got tires from them, they add it after you give the card information, pretty high price for slapping a address tags on or add a couple of plastic strap's to hold them together. 

I look around and couldn't fine any and cheaper. I ordered some OR 360 23 x 10.50 x 12 6ply.  The places I found them wanted more without the tax for 4 ply.

Well here is my final experience with GIGA TIRE.

 

I ordered 4 Deestone tires on Jan 3, & paid the extra fees.

On Jan 9 I received 2 Deestone tires at my door. 

Jan 10 I sent an email to GIGA TIRE with a complaint and the picture that Fed Ex sent that clearly showed 2 tires delivered to my door. 

Jan 10 I received a reply from Tires Easy with a claim number recognizing my claim ??? 

Jan 13 I get a reply from Giga Tire Telling me that Fed Ex must have lost my package and that they had to allow then 72hrs to find it. They asked if the package could not be found if I wanted a refund or replacement. I answered replacement.

Jan 13 received an email from Tires Easy thanking me for my reply,

Jan 14 received an email from Giga Tire thanking me for my patients while they resolve the issue.

Jan 16 receive an email from Giga Tire Explaining that Fed Ex can not find the tires and that replacements will be sent out. Then that they were sent out.

Jan 19 My 2nd set of tires finally arrive.  

 

Bottom line - I was not happy with the surprise handling fee. I only received 1/2 of my order. They made it right.

 

Would I order from them again?? Probably not.

. After your sure you got all your stuff write them a nasty gram sayin all your bros in the tractor club WILL NOT be ordering.

When I ordered my 4 tires they had two different shipping dates, but they all arrived on the same day.  

 

My bottom line, I received everything that I ordered and the price ultimately wasn't out of line, but I won't order from them again, I'll get them from somewhere that shows the price up front.

Found another one guys. Tires-Easy. I'd like to get some 4.80-8's for my 854. Found a good looking pair of Deestones and shipping was free. They do warn you that some ship-to-home orders may incur a handling fee. Yup, last page just before hitting the 'place order' button. It covered way more than what shipping should be. Nope! It was still a good deal for the tires but I simply won't do business with a company that does that crap.

I will tell this on myself when I ordered the tires from W world I hit the wrong button and ordered 3.50"s instead of 4.00"s . I was very upset about having to send them back until my wifey told me I could take them back to any Wally w. and they would take them back.. Easy Peasy I just reordered the right size and had them at my door before I even had time to take back the others I had mis ordered. I really like the idea of being able to do that and not be aggravated with having to ship back on my own. That's worth a lot to me and will be using them again when they are competitive with other vendors.
