1987_WHEEHORSE312 76 #1 Posted 17 hours ago Hey Guys! Merry almost Christmas! I went to check my transfluid earlier on my 312 and the dip stick tube broke off. Got the end removed and that is good. Now I have an empty hole. Can I put a bolt in it to get me through the winter, or had anyone had any luck making a dipstick tube? I'd rather not get a replacement one if there are other options as I'd rather do metal piping if possible. Let me know your ideas. I need something asap as its my plow tractor and its winter time. Also peep the new shed/shop! Thanks! 3

The double doors on the long side seems to be the new style, but I don't like that cause then you have to maneuver the tractor around. This style is awesome cause you get the full depth, like a garage.

Bill D 2,440 #15 Posted 15 hours ago I've often wondered if a piece of galvanized 1/2" pipe could be cut to the same length as the dipstick tube and used to replace a broken plastic dipstick tube? Anyone here try it? Would the dipstick seal snug in the tube?

Works perfect. 4 3

You never "purchase" another one, they just reproduced on thier own! Or- you just inherited a stray and just had to give it shelter! 1
