RoubaixRider 83 #1 Posted yesterday at 09:35 PM (edited) Hello, It’s been a while since I posted… Getting started on the restoration of my 1976 Wheelhorse C160, which is about 30% underway… Decided to finish off the year with some new seat cushions for the old style metal seat-pan/back, and member Matt Castagno made me a beautiful replacement. They are so much better than the original cushions, but look absolutely original installed. Such a pleasure to deal with Matt, and arrived in less than a week to California. Spoke to Matt about sharing his email…here it is…Matt’s contact info is: grnlark@gmail.com Hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and holidays. I’ll be posting more in the new year of the restoration. Best, Jason Edited 4 hours ago by RoubaixRider Contact information added 4

Tonytoro416 1,288 #6 Posted 21 hours ago I haven’t seen them on facebook but generally communicate with him through email. Super easy to deal with and have had the two seats he made for me in hand pretty quick in my opinion

I have to do a little fitting and shimming to adjust more leveling to the seat and extend it further back, but I Lways loved that seat style. J

Bar Nuthin 1,801 #14 Posted 6 hours ago (edited) I have a set, but I use my tractors for working and I can't bring myself to put such nice pads on any of them, yet. In the meantime, I've just been patching the old ones up. Once winter is over, maybe I'll pick one tractor to take out of service and slap a paint job on it. I’ve done a little bit of this type of upholstery in the past and it is incredibly labor-intensive… not to mention the skill level he has at doing it is amazing. I think the price that he is asking is reasonable.

Compared to the price of stamped out replacement seats lately (and their questionable quality), the price on these is clearly a value.

I got one that was on your 1257 labeled Electrac ... the only one i have with a decent pan that's why I had to keep it. Took it off for plowing way too nice. Would sell the pads to a Electrac collector and put these on. 42 minutes ago, Bar Nuthin said: the price on these is clearly a value. sqrlgtr 1,283 #22 Posted 3 hours ago I thought I seen $225 somewhere but not fer sure. I was just thinking if we had an order for say 10 would be better than 1 or 2 every so often. They are probably worth every penny just thought it might help him and us out a little. btw that sure is a beeeuty of a tractor . 8 minutes ago, WHX?? said: Kinda my same boat & keeping the barn cats off it. My thinking was, you never know when someone is going to retire or stop producing for other reasons. That's why I ordered the seat cushions - same with a couple decal sets, even though I didn't have an immediate need for either.
