I decided on this one because of the low presure and reputation of name on pump. https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/productdetails.asp?RecID=32299 also got these fittings to go with it. I stopped using that method a couple years ago when I got my ultrasonic cleaner. And I am glade you did Eric. Have been reading about some electric fuel pumps catching fire.. what’s are the chances of that realistically happening? These bar nun. Aviation class fuel pumps. I won't be buying any more of those. I have Mr. Gasket 42s pumps on two of mine and they seem to be holding up great. But really any quality pump with the right specs would be fine. If it thumps, avoid, if it whirrs, use it.

Do you happen to have a parts number of exactly Which one would work with 856? They have 5 or 6 of these posi flow facet pumps on their website, not sure what specifics I would need for my tractor needs and what to look for Edited Saturday at 02:37 PM by FLtractor

pfrederi 19,238 #34 Posted Saturday at 05:31 PM I use the 60245 because it comes with fittings. Never had a problem with the 4 psi. Others prefer 60304 as it is lower pressure.
sqrlgtr 1,288 #35 Posted Saturday at 05:34 PM The plastic is what made me pick all metal one. the plastic one is probaly just as good or better but to each his own. Just remember you dont need very much pressure and consider your choice wisely .

Here is a pick of it on the 856. I am sorry I some how lost the mounting picture that is on the bottom of the frame mounted low on the frame so it pumps up. It’s in winter storage right now so I can’t take a pic of it. I just made brackets for it to hold it down to the right side of the frame. as you’re looking at the front of the hood. I hope this helps. I have a 1056 also I can take a pick of that to give you a general idea what I’m talking about. Electrical hook up. If your motor is running right when you turn the key, it usually starts right up hardly any hesitation. Since we both only have an 8 hp I think this fits pretty good. Feel free to ask more questions.. Edited yesterday at 11:01 AM by Retired Wrencher

Thank you for the carb pictures, would you have a couple pictures of how the facet posi flow 1-2 psi fuel pump is mounted with brackets you made to see that and how the fuel line runs to carb? Retired Wrencher 6,166 #38 Posted 4 hours ago I am sorry I do not. Somehow that picture that you’re looking for got deleted. Also I can’t till spring. Where the hood mount that swivels open and closes, there should be a couple holes in a frame or you can mount it right there.Because that’s where I put mine. According to the instructions, they want down a low so we can pump up. That’s the best I can do for you right now. But the keyword is low on the frame.
