856 Carb drain, bad fuel, clean questions

Here is a link to the one I bought but I'm sure they are others that will work. I decided on this one because of the low presure and reputation of name on pump.

Those cans work okay but they're pretty weak. I stopped using that method a couple years ago when I got my ultrasonic cleaner.

These bar nun. Aviation class fuel pumps. I say good enough for aviation good enough for tractors.

I'm not quite up to 50% failure but close to it. I won't be buying any more of those. I have Mr. Gasket 42s pumps on two of mine and they seem to be holding up great. But really any quality pump with the right specs would be fine. If it thumps, avoid, if it whirrs, use it.

Do you happen to have a parts number of exactly Which one would work with 856? They have 5 or 6 of these posi flow facet pumps on their website, not sure what specifics I would need for my tractor needs and  what to look for

I  have 3 or 4 of the black posi-flo pumps.  never an issue over several years now.  I am sure the metal one you found would work well also.  i buy them because they designed and Manufactured in the USA  actually Elmira, New York.

Do you happen to know which one I need? These are all black plastic posi flo

I use the 60245 because it comes with fittings. Never had a problem with the 4 psi.     Others prefer 60304 as it is lower pressure.

The plastic is what made me pick all metal one. the plastic one is probaly just as good or better but to each his own. Just remember you dont need very much pressure and consider your choice wisely .
