When I install the new spring, I am going to try putting some plastic tubing on the contact areas at the end loops of the spring…. Might make it last longer.

A follow-up:

I ran across these springs today. They look  identical to the deck belt tensioner spring. Notice the price on the back???? I will test them soon.

Used a WH, a trailer my father and I built in the 60s and sewer auger (about 170 lbs) to clean a turtle out off the pond outlet pipe

 Put down some stripes this afternoon with my ‘02 - 315-8. 
  Wish all my mowing machines had cup holders :eusa-think:
