ebinmaine 75,332 #2 Posted 2 hours ago If the coil is energized during the start and run positions of the ignition switch that I don't see why this won't work. The only caution I would add here, ground importance can't be overstated. Original Wheel Horse grounds were adequate at best. Just a few years of corrosion... no more ground. If you are using the stock coil with the built-in resistor, fine. If you are using a replacement with a separate external resistor, power it from the key "Run" side at a full 12 volts.
