Probably not. They are too narrow to fit the factory wheels, and those look like 6-lugs, the originals for an 856 are 5-lug.

Doesn't seem so.

The 8.8- 22 is likely the size.

Quite a bit bigger than your own.

22 is the rim size.

The add says 8.8-22. Can you tell me what that number means in relation to my 856 rear of 23x8x12? What would or should I go with?

I'm not positive here....

I believe the 8.8 is the "advertised width" of the tire. The 22 should be the wheel diameter.

Many (most?) Garden Tractor tires are on a 12" wheel.

The middle number is the width.

The first number is the outer diameter of the tire.

There are a few tires that don't get even remotely close to the actual size with their advertised size.

You may very well find that getting two new tires is far easier and less expensive than shopping for usable used ones.  Factor in your own time and fuel.

That size is not original to a 856. The 6-12 would be Those are from a later tractor like a B or C series - and the wider tires DO give you a wider track and more stability. New same size as what you have tires may be the way to go.

So Orginal wheelhouse size tires for my 856 would be 23x6x12? Given I may eventually very well may need both rear tires AND wheels given how rusty they are from the calcium chloride? Filled, is there a certian place new that’s highly recommended for getting the needed Wheelhorse wheels and tires together these days?

Calcium chloride is the rim killer over time. Attracts moisture and rots the rims from the inside out.... Rimguard (beet juice) does not.

Look at pictures of other 856's - and the IPM parts list to verify the original tire & rim size. Your tractor, your choice.

Most folks pick up a pair of used rims and new tires of their choice. Then mount them at home...

here is couple pics I posted a while back of my 856 on the difference between Deestone and Carlisle tires both 23x8.50x12 on same size rim. Ive had good luck with the deestones but you can see how much smaller they run.... They are usally quite a bit cheaper though.

Thank you for the measurements and info. Do you or someone else know if this is a legit website? Says they’ve sold over 1 million tires and prices seem very cheap. Giga-tires.com

Accidentally posted this vice grip garage video I was watching and can’t figure out how to remove it.

Not sure that 3/4" to 1" of difference is a large amount but that could probably be made up with tire pressure. :twocents-02cents:

:jaw: I don't want to be around when you try and make them Deestones as big as the Carlisles by putting more air in them.:scared-eek: :ychain:

Using the amazing Google Machine I have found the following:

Giga-tires has a Walmart vendor store, so they exist to some degree. They do not seem to be a reputable or reliable seller based on this Reddit thread:

https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&opi=89978449&url=https://www.reddit.com/r/tires/comments/18ypzjy/is_gigatires_a_reputable_place_to_buy_from_they/&ved=2ahUKEwiw4t-e-qORAxW3kIkEHXm-CDoQFnoECBQQAQ&usg=AOvVaw1gdGDEryEqtDPotMtesMVl

I know those prices are great, but I would find somewhere else to buy.

When I was mounting our deestones, they said they had a max inflation of 35 psi, boy would that be a bumpy and hard ride :text-bump:
