Bar Nuthin 1,661 #1 Posted 5 hours ago I often see the Hydraulic lifts (and parts) referred to with acronyms like HY2, HY5, HY6, etc. Is there a post or file that breaks down the different designations? All three of my tractors have hydraulic lifts, but only one is completely stock. It gets confusing when looking for parts - not knowing the differences. That's the exact same search I ran before I made this post. At a minimum, I believe the two "non-stock" lifts I have are HY-6 - maybe The confusing part for me comes with matching hoses for older lift kits to new Sundstrand models. The ORB fittings are different sizes, even though the lift cylinders seem to be the same. Edited 4 hours ago by Bar Nuthin
ri702bill 10,341 #4 Posted 2 hours ago The HY2 and HY3 are identical except for the bellcrank. HY2 fits the PITA to remove shaft thru the tube design 1961 and 1962 tractors, HY3 has the bellcrank that is easy to remove with 2 bolts for the 1963 and 64, possibly more years than that. No Automatics those years...
