Elec-Trak

When I seen this video, I was intrigued by how many different models and the attachments that were available. Anyone know if WH offered the attachments? And which one was the E-141? The 15 or 20

E-141 was a C series tractor with the electric motor...

WH had a whole line of attachments. I had two, but only the mower deck on one and snow blade on the other. Snow blade was same as any C series. Mower deck had motors for each blade.

I also have an A-60 :scared-shocked: as well.

Great units.

The E 141 looks special. I seen the C185 and B 145's and they look like painted GE machines.

Wheel Horse must have manufactured the E 141 in house?

E-141 is exactly the same as a C-1xx except for a fiberglass hood and slightly higher seat to accommodate batteries...

We didn't have a GE Elec trak  but father did have the GE power tool he is holding in the picture and is on his work bench in several shots.  As I recall we had the 1/4" drill attachment, sander and a saber saw attachment.  There was something else but memory fails me.  It was a clever idea.

He does say WH purchased the Elec-trac line. I missed that.

A power converter from the 70's......Ford tried selling that idea last year.

The attachments were super cool.

Paul, it would have been nice to have the drill/sander/saw.

I guess the whole thing just fascinates me. I have passed up several cheap elec-trac machines in the past. figure those will be far and few in between.

One of my bosses had an Elec-Trak. Notice I said had! When I went to work for him he didn't have it anymore. But he had the snowblower attachment he insisted on keeping.:confusion-confused: He wanted it stored up in a loft when they built the new dealership. Took 4 of us to get it up there! :angry-tappingfoot:
