Heavy Duty Front Hitch

Recommended Posts

CRE1992

Hello all, I’ve taken quite a long hiatus from owning one of these spectacular red machines. Hopefully I’ll be back stateside sometime next week, then I’ll be purchasing a 95’ 314H that I currently have a deposit on. Before I go cutting up the mule drive to turn it into a hitch of some sort, (doesn’t come with a mower deck) either a pintle, or a 2” ball. Has anyone built a hitch that attaches on the front? It doesn’t have to support much tongue weight as it will only be support a tow bar. I am looking to move my plane into the hangar with a tow bar. Please post photos of what you have.

Thanks!

I mounted the receiver on the left side of my 312H.    I can still use the mule drive and deck and fully open the hood.    Best of all, I can see the ball when lining up to the trailer hitch.

Here's mine...

Made out of a mule drive... pops on and off quick.

This front hitch is built a little different, but it is strong, comes right off and works great.

Nice design, looks heavy duty! I might have to copy this one.
