amiga4001 33 #1 Posted 3 hours ago I wanted to remove a wheel from my B115 as it needed a new Tyre. Nightmare to get these wheels off I ended up dismantling the gearbox and taking out the axle and use a press and torch. I got those wheels off but I damaged the wheels (centre is not straight anymore) so I am looking for a new set, I was thinking about mounting a wheelflange with studs to be able to easy mount dismount the wheels in the future. Anyone tried this?Any tips? Most flanges I can find are metric size not imperial 3/4? Thanks!
oliver2-44 11,011 #2 Posted 2 hours ago You could use some WH hubs from 4/4 speed transmissions that have a 1” ID. Then use a 3/4 to 1” bushing.
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,770 #3 Posted 1 hour ago Someone was making replacement hubs that use a split tapered bushing between the hub and the axle. Using the same hub with the appropriate tapered bushing ID should be possible. Make sure the axle key will fit. I just don't know who it was nor can I find anything about them. I believe A-Z tractor sells them.
