1967-68 Lawn Ranger Info

I'm thinking about selling my L-107 Lawn Ranger.  I have rebuilt the original Tecumseh 6hp engine, replaced trans seals, rebuilt and reinforced the fender pan, refurbished the mower deck, repaired the cracked hood, repainted the tractor and replaced the decals. Basically it has been refurbished for work. It has mowed my yard (2/3 acre of steep contours) for a couple of years, but my yard is more than it should handle. It is a great little tractor, but I am running out of project room and need to make room for other projects. What is a good price point for it?

Well, somewhere between free & priceless. Sorry, condition is everything, we cannot begin to define the ballpark without a few good pictures of it. A short video of it running is most helpful too.

Yeah, I wrote the original post on a device without the pics available. Here's a picture after the first year of use. Unfortunately I don't have one of it running, and it is put away for the winter so can't get one easily.

That may be a 1968 1-1631 Lawn ranger.  I base that on the hood decals and the gauge wheel mountings on the deck and the 3 spoke steering wheel.

OK - I'll take a stab at it for a ballpark price.... $300. You are not going to put a kid thru college with the money from selling it.

Bear in mind that it is a Lawn Ranger, not a B or C Series...

IMHO (and others will disagree) it is a Grass Cutter, not a Garden Tractor. To me, it is one step above an RER  Rear Engine Rider style.

Having a Tecumseh engine, no matter how well it runs, is not as desirable as an electric start Kohler either.

Thanks for the info. I was guessing on the model number since I didn't look at the manuals I have. This was a complete frame up refurbish. Fun winter project.
