I'm at the GT pulls, there is a msg on my cell phone; a nice lady wants to give me a B-81 eight speed with a dead motor. After the pulls we went and picked it up.

The sheet metal is a tad rough but lot of good parts here and the price was right.

The condition of your C-81 looks exactly like one that I bought a week ago for $250

with a 42" SD deck. You got the better deal. The deck was much younger (pristine)

but the engine had thrown a rod. Had to replace a rear wheel seal and am hoping the

machine wasn't run dry. New Chinese Honda engine will have a home in this tractor.

Thanks Tom, same to you The deck for mine was sitting by the garge, but it was junk, so left it there.

I mainly grabbed for the 8 pinion tranny and spare parts, but it could be restored i am sure

Not sure what is wrong with the motor, turns over and ic no holes in the block, a lot of guys pull 8HP stock, so they will need pieces from the motor, trading stock for me :ychain:
