6wheeler 670 #1 Posted November 13 Just a quick question. I need a carb for my 165. I ordered one online. Put it on. And cannot get the crappy thing to adjust to save my life. The original carbs throttle plate screws let go so the plate beat up the throat pretty bad. I did scab a new plate and rod from the crapperator that I had ordered. It is pretty sloppy in there and the the throttle rod doesn't seal well. The tractor does start and run. But, the carb. has to be replaced. So, Has anyone found a place to get a good replacement? ebinmaine 74,925 #2 Posted November 13 I make no secret about how I feel on aftermarket carburetors. I've had several fail. I will not use another one. IMHO And experience you have two options. 1.
