Be aware of the paint being worn where they are. You guys talked me into it - I already have all my tractors converted to all LED taillights - put the tall chute on the 416 so I took the time to look what needs done - stator is putting out 16-17 volts AC to the lights - going to be easier changing it over to 12 DC than I thought - want to add a rear magnet mount LED spot with a quick disconnect too while I’m at it .

Note, too, that many outdoor LEDs have 6000K+ “daylight" temperature but not the full daylight spectrum. This can make for very bright but “flat” lighting, especially in snow. Not a deal breaker by any means, but something to consider. (Full spectrum combines LEDs of different colors and phosphor coatings to get the full range.) The lights are a bit low but I used the mounting for what was a previous light mount. Despite that its still a huge improvement. Overall for $24 it works. There's no reflection or none that I notice or that bothers me back with the blade up since the finish on the blade is dull & weathered. Since its just tractor lighting Im not spending more $$ than I paid for tractor trying to get the optimal lighting on the Kelvin Scale. Now...on the Beechcraft thats a different story. Upgraded all lighting to led Whelen products & it definitely cost me a lot! Edited 7 hours ago by ML3

Definitely understandable. 7 minutes ago, wallfish said: I feel her pain. The older I get, the less tolerance for cold. Same. The heat is worse. I can tolerate cold - with time and conditioning - down to about 15⁰. Heat however.. not so good. Anything above the low 80s I get super lethargic and need lots of breaks.

I have no problem paying more than some other folks would for what I see as quality parts. It is in reality most certainly just a tractor - but it's also a very important tool in our particular arsenal. If the cheap parts break at 3 am when I'm trying to clear the yard to get to work that doesn't help us much.
