rubbers and hoods

horseman with no horse

the rubber bumpers on all of my horses are worn or missing. to the point where belts are starting to scrape the seat pans and the pans themselves are rattly. also the little rubber dampeners on the hood for my c120 are missing. on top of that, ive noticed my paint fading and accumulating rust on my 855 hood :( . does anyone know where i can get the rubbers for both the hood and seat pans? are they the same as the decks? my deck needs the rubbers to help set the deck height. and any ideas to clean and polish the paint? i also have another issue with my c120 hood, the hood latch rod has pulled through the hood and often makes the hood pop open while mowing (very annoying and somewhat dangerous) i cant tell if theres supposed to be a rubber border on the lip of the hood to help it mate to the dash, and if so whats is part number? are my dash slots wore? i cant tell.

the rubber "button" bumpers for the 36 rd mower lift carriage were available recently - i bought them 1-2- yrs ago -- the buffer border spacer along the top edge of back of hoodstands that the hood goes against has also been available online -- but you can also use the door edge material that is used as car door edge guards - --I have found KB as well as AZ both often have the various unusual items that are not generally found elsewhere - both vendors reliable and fair prices and always helpful

you will have to double check the size  of the rubber bumpers.there are many different ones on the site. these were used on my hood

I just ordered and received 8 of the rubber buttons from Lincoln at A to Z tractor. If I remember right they are just a little over half price compared to Steiners price. 4 for 8.50.

Lincoln's business moves high volumes and he has only two employees--the website is rarely current! For best info, calling or email works.

@horseman with no horse... try part #5667 should get you where you need to go. Last I checked there were 16 or 17 4 pack sets left.
