Wheelhorse#1 1,895 #252 Posted Wednesday at 09:34 PM (edited) Old Black Betty has been ready since yr 1973 Looks like we are going to finally get something that’s plowable , hopefully not ice. Even added a little extra weight to the tool box. Edited yesterday at 01:24 AM by Wheelhorse#1 4

Wishin4a416 2,438 #255 Posted 21 hours ago Latest model has us at 12-18 but it has been changing daily because we are so far out.Have to wait and see I guess. Our last big one was Snomageddon in 2010. 27 inches and power loss for 8 days. Prepare for the worst and hope for the best.

If that came true we would end up with about 15, 16 inches around my house

adsm08 4,046 #262 Posted 10 hours ago We are almost ready for this next storm, so I'm sure it will be a dud. Brought the tractors into the new shop to work on them tonight. The 855 is ready except for a little fuel, and the chains could be tighter. We put the blower on the Commando but I'm struggling with the belt again. Routing is always and issue, but the belt it in very bad shape, and I'm not 100% sure it's the right length. Correct length is 56.5, per the manual page, I think this is stretched. I'm actually thinking of trying to go to a 59 or 59.5 and see if I can get it to operate from the tractor's foot control rather than the hand operated rod on the blower. Amazingly, with no assist spring, my 12 year old was able to lift the blower and lock the implement arm. But I had to go pick the unit up by hand for him to get it unlocked again. 1

I'm just a few miles Northwest of you - so far this year only used the the tractor with a blade - I was kind of hoping the 416 with the tall chute sat in the back of the garage on a tender all winter - I think its time to chain it up and add the weight
pfrederi 19,554 #264 Posted 9 hours ago The weather weenies are notoriously inaccurate when to come to predicting precipitation amounts...However in the last few years they are getting pretty close to predicting temperatures, So I am pretty sure it is going to be cold as a witches t***** 2
