Taylor 8 #1 Posted October 18 Hello everyone, I was cleaning up my 520H and noticed that it was leaking oil from the transmission. I had a hunch before that it was leaking, but now I found the spots. 2 spots, axel seal on the left and the temp sensor in the transmission. I found replacement seals online for the axel but why would the temp sensor be leaking? I can find a diagram that shows an O-ring or anything. The sensor works fine. Has anyone else come across this issue and how to fix it?
ebinmaine 74,509 #2 Posted October 18 The hubs can be a serious challenge to remove. DO NOT use a 3 jaw puller. There are several threads showing better pulling methods. 9 hours ago, Taylor said: sensor works fine Can you see if it's leaking from the center or around the threads?

You should be able to pull it (after draining the trans fluid) and slean and check it out for cracks or defects in the threads then apply a small amount of thread sealer and re-install. When pulling it, if you notice it seems loose then that is likely reason for it leaking.
