Hello - I picked up 1075 recentlly with no key. I have tried with all keys that used for 865 and C, B, and 300 series, but it cannot ne inserted.

Looking at the manual - it said the swich 4988. Anyone knows and where I can get the key.

Thanks

Is the switch the factory original or could it have been replaced by a previous owner the past six decades? If it looks like the one shown in the manual Gary put up and the regular mower key won't fit it may be a Snoopy Key. Tractor Supply or a John Deere dealer may have some.

The switch you have purchased is intended to operate with a solenoid. It is only rated at 30 amps and your starter will draw about 50 amps. Do you have a solenoid?

Richard is correct. If you want to bring it back to original I just pick up an original type key from wheel horse parts and more.com. This is this switch works with the start GEN tractors. I hope everything works out. Just take your time.
