kpinnc 16,476 #6 Posted October 9, 2025 (edited) I've got the Harbor Freight "Bauer" version (analog pressure guage), and it has been great. I used it to pump up all 4 tires on my daughter's Jeep from 0 psi when I painted the wheels with a single battery. I take it with me on any long trip just in case I pick up a nail and have a slow leak. Obviously they are much better than even a small air tank if you have to carry any distance. Only downside is you can't dump alot of volume at once like a tank so it's not for seating beads and the like. But it's become one of my favorite tools for simplicity. Those 3rd party tools are notorious for poorly designed electronics and high leakage current. They were also running a promotion for a free 5AH battery and charger with any bare tool purchase! Those batteries aren't cheap. I got the $100 rebate when they were selling the 5AH batteries for $59.99 (reg. $179.99) + $20 rebate = $39.99 I bought one for myself (I have 2 batteries in service and 3 still in the package) and bought four for my son in-law, the contractor. They currently have them on sale again for $59.99! Between bike/car/tractor tires, and inflating/deflating mattresses for kids sleepovers, they are always handy.
