little red riding horse 226 #1 Posted October 7 Hi people, can someone tell me the length of the small belt (pto) so i can order a new one before mine finally snaps , its almost there ! Also, im thinking of replacing the seat for an after market one as mine is pretty bad now... is there one that fits on with minimal altering and looks very similar ? many thanks in advance ... peter lena 9,492 #6 Posted October 7 @little red riding horse welcome to the site ! another very related thing about any belt wear , is the extensive , PULLEY DRAG LOADING WEAR , thats what is eating that belt ! very often refer to PTO clutch drive point , moving related belt BY HAND , DOWN TO MUEL DRIVE ? HOW EASILY DOES THAT MOVE ? if you have extensive drag ( difficult to move ) there are a number of pulley bearings , at every belt to pulley phase, would bet your entire set up , needs a refurbishing . this isn,t a quick easy one and done , realise this what you probably did not want to hear , just a matter of fact and COLLECTIVE WEAR . on rotational parts . that extensive belt wear , is bearing lube failure , bet the deck is also loaded with grass . wish you well on your issue , but its extensive , pete Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
