BurtB 106 #26 Posted October 31, 2025 Okay, had some time to work on this. Have opened and inspected most of the valves, they look pretty good. One of the shafts has wear from a spring, I'll get pictures later. Orings are hard, as expected. The forward/reverse valve control housing 1/4-20 screws are not SHCS, they are 12 point splines. Pics attached. Anybody know offhand what socket I need?

BurtB 106 #28 Posted November 1, 2025 Probably 3/8 or smaller. Duh. I was going through all my oddball spline/torx sockets looking for something that would fit the spline. I avoid 12pt sockets out of habit. Maybe I should just use a 12pt socket...
953 nut 63,546 #29 Posted November 1, 2025 A 12 point deep socket was needed, had to go buy one because none of my sets had one.
pfrederi 19,460 #30 Posted November 1, 2025 1/4" 12 pt (1/4"drive works best as sockets are thinner_
