hotajax 230 #1 Posted September 28 Can I please request some assistance on this? I have the belt, however I MAY have lost a part. On a 1986 side discharge 48-in mower deck, what is the order of assembly down at the part that holds 2 pulleys - one that is flat and one for a V-groove? I checked my Wheel Horse manual, and it shows a spacer to the outside of the flat idler. I only have one spacer that is about 5/8" and I thought that went between the two pulleys to keep them from touching as they go in opposite directions. With what I have now, that pulley cover rubs against the belts and doesn't tighten on the threaded shaft. Are there supposed to be two spacers on that shaft? Thanks a lot. Can really use some help. Lee1977 7,394 #2 Posted September 28 (edited) The mule drive belt is 1/2" x103 or WH 102742. There are two spacers on the mule drive just from my bad memory the 5/8" goes on the outside next to the cover. The other spacer is wider around 3/4" goes between the inside v-groove and the flat idler. The spacer is WH 101734, Partstree has it for $5 .49. Lee, do you happen to know the part number for the other spacer? I could probably get away with using a series of fat washers, too. Thanks for your help, gents. Thanks bud, but.... being a good Navy man, I owe you a sixer if you lived near me. But I found the short spacer, all is cool now. Thanks very much for your help. The short spacer rolled down the driveway, like 30 feet from where I was working. What a dope, eh?
