Will89-B-1 1 #1 Posted September 22 I bought a new (more like very used) Wheel Horse Tractor this spring. It has a mowing deck and a tiller attachment. Not even sure what year or model it is or any information on the attachments. Can I get some help to get started withal of this please? Used the tiller to till up a new garden this spring, used the mower to mow this summer and getting ready to try to figure out the tiller again. Is there a place to buy parts. I had to buy and install bearings for the PTO this spring and instead of looking up the part number the parts store measured the inner and outer rings on the old bearing. I want to both use this tractor and also do a bit of restoration on it. Be nice to figure out some of the safety stuff that previous owners have pulled off. Thanks. JoeM 9,037 #2 Posted September 22 (edited) Welcome Will! The parts posse will be along shortly. They will need the info from the tag on the machine and they also like pics. In the vendor section there are businesses that cater to the WH stuff as well as other thing, worth looking at. Also, once you get the model of the machine there is an area that has loads of parts and owner manuals, another good place to visit. Down loads are free. https://www.wheelhorseforum.com/files/ Edited September 22 by JoeM

Sparky-(Admin) 23,900 #8 Posted September 22 If there’s no model number tag or decals on your new machine then tell if it’s a manual or hydrostatic transmission. If it’s a manual does it have high/low range? Manual attachment lift or hydraulic lift? What brand engine and what’s the horsepower? Of course pictures would really help us! We can help you get the wiring back in good condition when we know what you have. Is yours a single cylinder model or two cylinder? How many horsepower? Model numbers can be found on a sticker under the left side of your seat if it is 1985 or newer. If you don't find it there then look on the hood stand. Will89-B-1 1 #17 Posted September 27 Hey everybody. I live in downtown Detroit and my tractor is at my garden 200 miles away. I know, not an ideal condition. I just did take pictures with my phone of the model and serial numbers. Now I just have to figure out how to get them off of my phone and on to my computer so I can share them with you all! I move back and forth between the two places and there is no internet service where the garden is....... The damn phone barely works there, You can usually talk over the phone but sharing photos is a 50/50 shot at best. And no Ed and Joe you didn't scare me away. I'm the father of a daughter so talking tractors isn't all that scary!
lynnmor 8,141 #18 Posted September 27 Typically you can connect a cable from the phone to the computer and it will show up as another drive. If you post the model of phone i am sure someone here can help you with that.
