i have a wheel horse c120 that DavidT built me and its got an onan p218G out of a 518H, and i was wondering the size for the crankshaft bolt and any coller/washer i might need to sit in the little recessed spot in my electric PTO clutch im trying to stick on it. also does anyone know the bracket bolt size that goes to the block for the PTO?

No, but if you are going to do this seriously, you need to add a dial caliper and a set of thread gages (found in a good set of taps & dies) to your tool box.

As Kenny Rogers sang " You gotta know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em, know when to walk away, and know when to run. ... If you're gonna play the game boy, ya gotta learn to play it right".

My point is that measuring tools are an investment, not just something you can do without. And yes, the "Eyecrometer" only gets you so far....

Looked at the ipl's for the two 518-H tractor models and both show a manual pto that does not need a crankshaft bolt.

Post all the numbers off the engine data decal so we can continue looking,

WHX??

I would venture to guess it's 3/8 and very possibly fine thread if it goes in the end of the crank.

When you need a P220 part, try looking up a Deere model that used that engine, i looked up a 420, that used an Electric clutch and P220G...then lookee through the website for that illustration.  3/8-24 would be the fine thread

Toro hasnt been great with parts availability or suppport on legacy machines, thankfully...engines are mostly universal between brands and Deere has probably the best parts lookup search engine, in that..they usually give you not just their number...but a good description.  Likewise...Kawasaki, not the easiest to lookup FD engine parts on Toro..but, Deeres site is easy, and you can cross the number to the Kawi number
