mrc 963 #1 Posted 4 hours ago hello men, i'm use to the pto setup on the 3, 4 and 500 series wh tractors. recently i took the pto bell off an older 'C' series and it had a thin small washer and spring in there. i'm hoping one of you can anyone provide an exploded view of how this is supposed to go back together. thank you in advance regards mike
Bar Nuthin 1,170 #2 Posted 3 hours ago (edited) From my C-120 The picture is kind of confusing, but there is a thrust bearing that the spring rides on - the spring is meant to apply pressure to push the outer PTO shaft (14-75) and push the plates apart when disengaged. Here's what I found the first time I took my PTO off. Edited 3 hours ago by Bar Nuthin
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,577 #3 Posted 2 hours ago You can eliminate all those inner pieces if you replace the 14-75 that has one retaining ring groove to a later version that has two retainers - one on each side of the bearing.
