mcgreg 2 #1 Posted Monday at 08:44 PM Hello All, Reaching out to you for a little advise please! Have a mower deck spindle bearing making noise on my 246H yard tractor. It is a 42" Pn 05-42SS01 deck where the spindle assembly bolts on from the bottom and a press fit sheave and sleeve presses down from the top side, retained by a nut and lock washer. 30 some yrs of rust also in the works here and that sheave and sleeve are not budging. A combination of torch and puller on it has destroyed the sheave with no movement. So it looks now time for slitting the sleeve and more heat to get it off. If you all know of a better way, pls advise. And any lead on replacement sheave sources you may know of. Thank you in advance! Greg

Lincoln at A-Z Tractor would probably have what you need, inventory on the web-site is not always up to date but he is good to deal with so give him a call. https://www.a-ztractor.com/ Another potential source would be K & B Parts, send a PM to @76c12091520h to see if he has what you need.
