ML3 1,859 #1 Posted August 31 (edited) Got back today from Chicago with the 702 that was in classifieds. Needs a few small things, especially a good cleaning, but it will be a good worker. Brush paint job but I may consider trying to wet sand to expose original paint/patina? Not sure what to do with it as of yet. Im not even sure if its a 702??? Very nice people that refused any offer of $$. They also gave me a 1978 Yamaha 650. Should be easy to get running as it was properly drained & stored. Just a bit dirty also. ri702bill 9,697 #3 Posted August 31 If its got the original K161 7 HP engine, it certainly looks to be a 702... Nice score!

ACman 7,666 #9 Posted September 1 Free is good . My daughter’s boyfriend dropped off this 552/702 . I haven’t really looked it over really good but it does have a battery tray so I know it had electric start . I really don’t need it but it has a one piece fuel tank , pristine seat and steering wheel . I need to find an old school bus with a chair lift so I can bring my whole hoard to the BIG SHOW and not be charged a million dollars for more than one axle on the toll roads . Check out this post I made detailing the difference between a 702 and a 753 . 2
