It is kind of regional it's mainly in the Midwest

It's based in WI, but we have a lot of them here in Indiana.

Wild, I am originally from Nebraska.  Menards is one of the big three.  Preferred Menards.  And tried to support the locals till they started selling mostly chinesium.  Then I was out

Out here just working some things out, Where can i get the choke and throttle nobs? And a hood latch nob, A rear light, And potentially a new steering wheel?

Okay. Now heres a question i keep forgetting about. I talked to a big guy in wheel horse at a show, because my fwd and reverse lever is super loose. It doesn't stay in one area, It will always go straight to full. Whats the plastic plate called so i can get an new one? Anyone know?

 

(Its a 1971 Charger 12 if that helps)

Are you talking about this piece (cam plate)? I got mine from Lowell (wheelhorsepartsandmore) but it looks like he is out of stock. BTW, that is the part number for my C-120, you need to look in your parts manual for the correct part number.

The plastic plate may not the problem. These screws may not be tight enough or the tension plates are warped /worn. 

I've had luck replacing the screws with allen head screws and adding a washer to increase spring pressure.

And you definitely do not want to lubricate the plate. Keep it clean.

Okay. Another few things, What would be the best material for sandblasting? Wallnut shells, Or Baking soda? And i called a guy, And he said that if you spray a coat of primer, You wont need as many cans of paint? Is this true? Thank you guys for all your help, I appreciate it a TON!!!

And if anyone really knows, How many cans of primer should the full tractor take? rims too.
