Retired Wrencher 5,836 #1 Posted August 9 i’ve had this one for a few years, I picked it up in a fall show at Zagray show in October. It is a 1057 I have not been in a hurry to finish it because it’s pretty much original from what I’ve seen. Yes it has a lot of scratches on it, as the old timers used to say it’s only original once. Gotta finish the Valves. Do the points and then finishing the rest of it. Should be good to go. I use those 612s when I’m working on a project they don’t take up much room plus I still like those 612s. Hope you enjoy your projects. The last three is the day I picked it up. Enjoy all your projects. 2

WHX?? 51,892 #5 Posted August 10 Yep they rule! ...and that's a dandy! I would classify the seat as good condition and gotta believe it's original even tho it goes against what seat was put on '67s. More possible proof they just used whatever seat they had on the line that day. Steering wheel has been replaced or possibly transitioning to the ones used on later '68 Raiders and such. I had never thought of using 6-12s on a late model rear before ... not too bad. You may have started a new trend!

But I think you’re right they just used whatever they had in stock. But hey! It has the snoopy key.I am sure this came from the big show. I picked this up from.Stevbo a few years ago. It was always put on the back burner. That’s why it is taking me this long to get where I am. Thanks for your comment.. squonk 43,939 #9 Posted August 10 That steering wheel looks to be the same wheel that was on my 1267. And I've been using 6-12's on just about everything. Easier to fit on the trailer!

Those 6 12`s where off an 606 607 or 657 when I was collecting a series of 1967 tractors. At one time I had all the manual shift tractors, except the six speeds for the year 67. Enjoy your day. Easier to fit on the trailer! Mike, I agree with that about the 6/12s they’re good for tight spaces in the garage, witch is full tool boxes, rolling cabinets two or three workbenches so the 612s come in very handy. Well, we all know the meaning of that now word like you I’m always looking for the next one. Couple years ago I sold my B -80- 8 speed been missing it every day. I’ve been looking but either there too expensive or too far gone. Thanks for the reply.

Always liked the looks of those. But also I find them a bit flimsy if you put too much pressure on them from getting on and off the tractor. I personally have never broke one, but when I picked up this tractor the steering wheel is bent and twisted beyond repair. Enjoy your day.
