In the Transmission Section there's a thread pinned to the top.

Click the link below, then see the 3rd line from the bottom in the first pic.

They're readily available on the aftermarket.

You need to measure your axle.  According to the parts drawings you have a 4 pinion !" axle.  1" axle Wheel Horse # 100869  or SkF 9815.

There's always a possibility of previous owner changes.

A 400 series should have a 1 1/8" axle.

To the best of my knowledge no 400 or 500 had the smaller axles. That was in the 310 or 312. Possibly 308 or 314.

Should be 1-1/8" axles but some of these transmissions at the time used different differential carrier bearings. Does not affect axle seal size.

small size , @Rucan  like a HARBOUR FREIGHT  PACKING PULLER  , small size , drill or punch a very small , hole on the side wall of that seal , screw in the puller and pullout the seal , those hubs are usually frozen with rust , like KROIL  for a penetrant , remove the set screw to hub days out , have it at  top dead center  , to hold oil , would also recommend a , BEARING PULLER  type of  hub  puller  , it concentrates  pull  at the hub to axel area , a pull on the axel  hub outer edge is usually a cracked hub . expect  some  issues with this , binding rust , those hubs are cast , and crack  with any side deflexion , my own experience is to , start , KROILING  , many days out , with set  screw backed off , and using tractor  , to enhance kroil creep  , pete
