mrc 963 #10 Posted August 7 just helped my buddy with this very same deck and belt. 1/2x 97 inch is the belt that goes form the pto out to the mule drive and back to the center pulley on your 36 RD deck. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
peter lena 9,340 #11 Posted August 7 @daleg8700@gmail.com probably glairing ,rotational , movement areas , like pulleys , that bind or are in the rough , noisy state of use , that eat belts alive . very often see the mindset of one and done . every related movement spot , can and should be free / smooth / easy , mule drives alone are known for binding bearings . also idler pulleys with tiny bearings , are known problems . hint , the deck idler belt spring tension spot , will show , rubber dust , and elongated slide arm , wear . also check out the pto lever set up , for wear / engagement . its not one area / its every related area . pete 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
