Lee1977 7,214 #1 Posted 19 hours ago I was trying to finish up the front late Saturday afternoon when it quit. Checked the things I though It might be, PTO was tight .the C-clip was still in the groove. Mule drive belt was tight, idlers good. Tried the deck turned the right side blade everything felt right. Took it back to the garage and got the 520 and finished up. Today I was went to see what was wrong and found it .I'll let you fellows guess as to what was wrong with it. wallfish 18,117 #4 Posted 18 hours ago Sounds like the average question on here. Minimal details or history provided and not even a tractor or attachment model (so basically all internet diagnostics is just a WAG). LOL Deck belt for the spindles broke or popped off

Lee1977 7,214 #9 Posted 16 hours ago The spring in the tac-a-matic got weak 15 or 20 years back I have pinned it in place. I remove the pin press the release when the deck came off the tac-a-matic latch fell out with it. All six bolts holding the tac-a-matic were loose. I replace all six and added lock washers only thing wrong is the deck would fallen off with out being pinned in place.
