400/500 series Rock Shaft

Any of you gents have a rock shaft laying around that you could take pics and post dimensions of so I can fabricate one,I just bought a tiller and was supposed to get the drive system for free from the seller,But I'm at the point that it's not gonna happen so I'm just going to try and fabricate everything my self any help would be appreciated.

The ones I made i used a 3/4 collar to lock it in place. The bushings came from McMaster Carr. I used a rear hitch pin for the 3/4 shaft.

The pics are from my archive notes. 

I don't have any on hand to offer better dimensions. I sold the last one I had to @Handy Don at the show this year. He may be able to provide more info??

I was looking at an old non usable deck I have laying around and the lift bars for the deck look like the correct size and the bar is 3/4" .looks like all I'll have to do is measure and cut the slots for the c clips and cut the slots in the bar I know that part doesn't need to be precise.I have some more questions later on.Thanks for the reply.

Yep, @JoeM parted with one of his constructs since I have a second tractor that needs one.

The first I made exactly as you describe above! Only the ¾” rod length’s dimension is really critical--too long and it rubs the gas tank, too short and it isn’t well-supported in the seat stand bushings.
