JoeM 8,347 #2 Posted Friday at 10:22 PM The ones I made i used a 3/4 collar to lock it in place. The bushings came from McMaster Carr. I used a rear hitch pin for the 3/4 shaft. The pics are from my archive notes. I don't have any on hand to offer better dimensions. I sold the last one I had to @Handy Don at the show this year. He may be able to provide more info??
TripC 2 #3 Posted Saturday at 01:52 AM I was looking at an old non usable deck I have laying around and the lift bars for the deck look like the correct size and the bar is 3/4" .looks like all I'll have to do is measure and cut the slots for the c clips and cut the slots in the bar I know that part doesn't need to be precise.I have some more questions later on.Thanks for the reply.

Yep, @JoeM parted with one of his constructs since I have a second tractor that needs one. The first I made exactly as you describe above! Only the ¾” rod length’s dimension is really critical--too long and it rubs the gas tank, too short and it isn’t well-supported in the seat stand bushings.
