T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,609 #1 Posted July 24 I recently ran across this series a month or two ago, and I am even considering picking one up here: With my newly acquired interest in this series of diesel garden tractors, I made a video of the different models in this line, except for a couple which I'm sure were made overseas and not for North America buyers. Does anyone have one or know of these little jewels? A
JoeM 8,347 #2 Posted July 24 My neighbor had one, hydro got sluggish in reverse. I ask him to look at it several times, kept telling me the transmission is sealed and the dealer mechanics said to replace it. He wouldn't take in but stopped to pick their brains. He gave it to a nephew and that was the last of it. Ended up with a Bad Boy and I fixed it the first month, both coils failed. He couldn't get a mechanic from Tractor supply to come out and fix it. I know the Kubota ran it years and years and it sipped fuel. Agree a little jewel! Might just want to heat up the trans and pull test if it is a hydro? The G5200 only came with the hydro, and I've seen another video of one and the guy said it was fast.....he just bought it and got it running, so who knows if a previous owner messed with the adjustment on the motion control pedals. Manual says 0 to 6.5 mph forward and 0 to 3.2 mph reverse for the hydrostatic tractors.

I know the hydro's are adjusted to slow the reverse speed. This guy commented once that the neutral on the pedal was not working right and I figured he fooled with it.
