Brockport Bill 1,932 #5 Posted Saturday at 02:52 PM if you buy the tractor and get the teiller be sure to ask if the person has the necessary other pieces that go with it? Spring, chain and front pto idler pulley unit, and it's safety guard?

gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,450 #7 Posted Saturday at 05:05 PM This is the tiller sold for the 856. Problem with using the larger and later tiller is the 856 ground speed is too fast. You run at low rpm for a good ground speed and the belt driven tiller is not turning fast enough. They did have a speed reducer kit but that would be a challenge to find and add to the 856. Brockport Bill 1,932 #9 Posted Saturday at 07:08 PM be mindful if the tiller they have is NOT compatible with the tractor --- and you can purchase for modest price ( assuming its in operational condition ) it does have resale value -- your choice?
